Fun and engaging yoga classes customized to meet your goals
Before and After School
Classes are held in the school surrounding the school day. Students benefit from belonging to a supportive group held in the comfort of their school. Yoga is a potent way to transition into or out of a school day.
Our program aligns with national standards for health and physical education, and uses a secular curriculum. School options include classroom integration, physical education classes, and mindfulness and movement breaks during transitions or assessment days.
Small Groups and Special Events
Classes are tailored to meet specific goals of the student or group. Target skills are identified and strengthened, with a focus on physical health, social and emotional learning, attentional focus, self-esteem, and stress reduction. We partner with community organizations to bring a fun, new experience to events.
Athletic teams have enjoyed the benefits of adding yoga to their training schedule - especially increased flexibility, better breathing, mental clarity, and overall performance. As a former NCAA Division 1 ice hockey player, Kate uses her experience to tailor classes for athletes.
Through yoga, breath work, visualization, art projects, creative writing, and games, students will explore mindfulness in fun and accessible ways. Our summer camps are a fun way to incorporate yoga into children's lives in a playful way while building community.
Kate offers trainings and workshops to equip educators, parents, yoga teachers, and health professionals with tools to integrate yoga into their community. Using the evidence-based Yoga Ed. curriculum, workshops focus on the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of teaching breathing, yoga poses, and relaxation to youth. Trainings range from short professional development sessions in schools to full certification as a Registered Children Yoga Teacher (RCYT) through Yoga Alliance.
